There is nothing more soothing than the sound of water running softly over stone – the plethora of water features found in Bali’s accommodation spots only add to the islands relaxing vibe. And the Balinese are master crafts people – the trinkets on sale in Kuta are only a taste of the true creativity to be found. The Guppy’s, with the help of their Balinese manager Wisma, work alongside these talented individuals to produce stunning water features that will amp up the style factor in almost any garden or entertaining area. Pieces are made in limestone, concrete and Lombok stone – many are carved by hand. The latest shipment to arrive at Bigwater also feature a unique, ‘embossed’ style glass front, commissioned especially by Bigwater Imports. The woman who crafts them, once a road side glass maker, is now struggling to meet demand from large hoteliers and business owners!
